The Quilt
This is the quilt pattern that I reach for when I need to make something quick. I have made in reproductions, brights, black and whites and always looks great. I have given lots away as gifts. I find that I usually start with a bold or large-scale printed fabric for the centre squares.
The movement of colour in the ‘crossing’ bands looks just great in any colour way, create a tonal range based on the feature fabric colours.
