These quilts will be instantly recognised by many as the patterns have often a long history usually in British or American designs. My distinctive style has a number of defining features that includes large sized quilts to give me multiple repeat patterns, unexpected colour choices or tradition with a little change up for the times. I love playing with small scale blocks that give me lots of repeats across the quilt top. A few quilts also explore the combination of pieced and appliqued blocks as I really like the diversity that can be achieved. Traditional patterns that have interlocking circles also provide endless options like the Winding Ways design. The Lattice series of quilts (Amazed is an example) now numbers in excess of 10 and give endless options to create strong linear quilts.
